Hotel Portonovo Plaza Malecon

Excellent location. 2 minutes from the beach and a block from Malecon. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good and the staff at breakfast excellent. Nice little pool on roof which is very quiet... hardly anybody ever there. For me noisy on busy street side. But others there liked the busy side because of balcony. We moved to back side which is very quiet. Great restaurants everywhere nearby. Would highly recommend this place if you want to be in the heart of the action. No fridges but you can use the one in the lobby. Supermarket right across the street. Will return here.

A very nice room, but property has upgraded me from twin bed tour full bed; Nice bathroom; very clean very comfortable bed; chair conditioning; nice hot water with pressure; Internet worked well at any part of the hotel, including the rooftop. Very nice buffet breakfast at the rooftop almost perfect… Monica at the reception was absolutely great, before I paid for the room. She asked me if I would like to see the room which I did. That was very nice… I was able to check in early as the room was available.. Excellent location ; supermarket; taco stands with delicious food behind the corner.

We ended up having breakfast next door.. the breakfast option wasn’t really visible or understandable.

The location is absolutely fabulous❗and right in the middle of everything...shopping, food, beach. The breakfast buffet varied and delicious.

Clean , everyone very nice , close to everything, love that place
